London Gatwick Airport

To the south of London you will find Britain’s Gatwick Airport, a significantly more laid back alternative to the busier Heathrow Airport. Connected by the monorail are the airports North and south terminals which offer Trans-Atlantic and African destinations.

The North and South terminals offer many amenities. Both have exchange stations, money machines, shops, duty free shops, and information desks. If you find yourself hungry or thirsty in either terminal, there are a host of restaurants and bars to choose from. If you need to send some mail, however, you’ll have to make your way to the South Terminal.

Fast Track priority service is available for you business class travellers, and all the business services you need can be met at the nearby London Gatwick Hilton (+44 01293 518 080)and the Le Meridien London Gatwick (+44 01293 567 070) Hotels.

Domestic and International flights have separate arrival areas within the Gatwick North Terminal. Be sure to allow enough time as International arrivals take approximately 50 minutes to make it through baggage claim and customs.

For more information regarding arrival times, check out BBC CEEFAX pages 445 and 446 or ITV Teletext pages 185 and 186. For an audio explanation, dial 0870 0002468 and follow the instructions.
