London City Is Very Popular Transportation
London is a very popular travel hub, be it for business or pleasure travel. There are many avenues of transportation in place to keep up with the high volume of travelers through London. There are five international airports, one international rail terminal, and four inter-regional train stations.
West London has Heathrow Airport whose four terminals provide numerous worldwide flights.
South London is home to Gatwick Airport. Less busy than Heathrow, it services destinations across the Atlantic, as well as Africa and Europe.
Luton and Stanstead Airports, budget lines servicing European destinations, can be accessed by train rides every fifteen minutes from 05:00 to 24:00. The train rides are an hour long. Rail cars service the London & City Airport but it has a more limited list of destinations.
Paris and Belgium are easily accessed from central London via Eurostar and the Waterloo International Rail Station. The rail station also services trains from the South Coast of England. Central Paddington, Kings Cross, and Euston Stations are serviced by trains from Scotland and the North. Paddington also has rail connections coming from Wales to the West.
If traveling by car, Western and South Western destinations in the UK are accessed along the M4 and M3.The M1 comes in from Northern cities like Birmingham, the M11 comes in from the north east. The M20 comes in from the East while the M23 comes from the South. The M25 connects all primary routes.
