The Cadier Bar is located inside the Grand Hôtel Stockholm, one of the most exquisite hotels in Stockholm. It is named after the founder of the hotel, Régis Cadier, as he wanted the Grand Hôtel to be a place of respite for lovers of good food and wine. For a while, Régis Cadier lived next door in Bolinderska Palatset, which is now a part of the Grand Hôtel.
The Cadier Bar is the perfect place to meet with other guests of the hotel or with friends. This hotel bar has a very special atmosphere and is a great place to go for any reason. It is located just inside the lobby of the Grand Hotel Stockholm, giving one a terrific vantage point for people-watching and day dreaming. The ambiance is wonderful.
In the mid-1980s, the Cadier Bar was remodeled when the hotel took part of the French Dining Room and the hotel lobby and turned them into the large, elegant bar it is now. There are also several large seating areas for groups. The bar has a terrific view of the harbour, Royal Palace, and Old Town, and there is a piano to provide relaxing music four evenings a week, played by some of Sweden’s best bar pianists.
