Getting a taxi in Stockholm is really not so much of a popular choice. If you are visiting this can be even more challenging, as you might end up paying more than you had bargained for. To make sure that you are not getting into an illegal taxi make sure the number plate on the taxis has got a small ‘t’ next to it. You can spot the big taxi companies straightaway, it is not expensive and you can even get a small tour with the taxi ride.

You will not have a huge bill if you are stuck and your taxi is waiting, it will be about twenty minutes (and this is in case you have requested a pick up) that is when they will start to charge waiting time.
The taxi company accepts most major credit cards and also accepts different currency. They accept GBP, Euro, and USD American Dollar and of course SEK Swedish Crowns. There is room for up to seven people in a taxi. And you can get a guided tour with a personal touch.
