Rhythm Festival Is Music Festival

Every Month of August

The Rhythm Festival of Bedford was started in 2006 featuring great music acts in England. In the past year, the 2nd year of the festival, the event was held in Twinwood Arena in Clapham, which can accommodate up to 5,000 people.

The site of the festival was perfect for the three-day event that featured such acts as the John Martyn Band, the Levellers and Prince Buster, among others. It had a large, covered purpose-built stage as well as huge grounds, some areas of which were made as camping sites where spectators and participants of the festival could camp out using tents or camper vans.

The Festival is not only resplendent with music but it is also where you can get great food and drinks. The Charles Wells Bedford brewery supplied the beers during the 2007 Rhythm Festival, with all bars in the concert area featuring their real ales. The retail and food outlets are regulated quite strictly when it comes to their numbers as well as the quality of food they serve and products sold. As such, you cannot find hot dog or burger vans in sight as well as merchants selling rip-offs.

The other features of the festival include the Therapy Zone where alternative therapies are showcased. There is a cinema that is solar powered and a children’s play area. While adults need to pay 80 pounds for the festival’s tickets, children under 11 years old can be admitted for free, one for every adult ticket.
