Alton Towers (UK)
Alton Towers is one of the most popular theme parks in the United Kingdom. There is a reason Alton Towers is so popular - it has some of the most exhilarating and scary rides in the UK. Unlike other theme parks such as Thorpe Park, Drayton Manner and Chessington World of Adventures, Alton Towers has rides that can only be found there. Air is one of the easiest ways to experience flying like Superman. Or, experience going backwards on Thi3teen. The world in which we live is truly amazing. Here we take a look at the most amazing natural wonders in the world.
Aurora Borealis
Aurora Borealis are also known as polar auroras or the northern lights. They are called the northern lights because they occur in the northern hemisphere. These naturally occurring lights appear to spectators as dancing lights in the sky. If you wish to experience the northern lights first hand you have a higher chance of doing so the closer you travel to the magnetic pole in the Canadian Arctic islands. However, you could have a wasted ...

Camping has progressed since the days of my youth when my friends and I would pitch our tiny tent in a farmer’s muddy field and huddle round the primus stove trying desperately to heat some food and at the same time stay warm.
It has even moved on from the large, multi-room tents that I went to later in life, permanent holiday camps in Spain and France.
Nowadays, you can discard any thought of roughing it, for camping can be a thoroughly luxurious experience.
Consider a camping holiday in the UK this year. Not only will it be lighter on your purse but ...

It’s a small island in the Mediterranean and it attracts over 4 million visitors a year from all over the world. It’s Ibiza, Balearic Island and Mecca for anyone who is serious about clubbing. The sun, the sea, the sand and the pints of sangria overflow to make Ibiza the hottest and liveliest of all clubbing resorts.
Ibiza has some very famous clubs; in fact so big they are referred to as super clubs. Space is probably the most famous club that tourists flock to, a converted concert hall with an open-air terrace that beats to all day and all night ...

Italy. Home of politics. Birthplace of the renaissance, an extremely fruitful intellectual movement that proved to be a catalyst in shaping European thought. A culture which extended its rule to many countries. For such a small country, it has and still does offer the world so much, whether it be values, food, religion or, arguably most pivotal of all... fashion.
You could spend your life writing a book about Italy and it wouldn’t be big enough. That’s how diverse Italy is. Even the language barrier can be struggle for those who speak it at a good level. But certain ...

As the pace of life seems to accelerate toward ever more frenetic speeds, the need to take a break, even for just a few days, is ever more pressing. No one can function well when they’re running on empty. But staying at home rarely does the trick; the temptation is always there to tidy up, shampoo the carpets, decorate, repair, improve, or just catch up with that soul-destroying backlog or ironing. You end up going back to work to catch a rest.
If this story sounds depressingly familiar, it really is time to think of better ways to spend your short, ...

With many of us feeling the need to tighten belts and ease up on expenditure in these economically gloomy times, it still matters to arrange for a little beam of sunlight to cut through the grey mist every so often. For everyone on a tightened budget, this might seem like a wishful daydream, but there some great offers to be found out there which will get you out of the house (relaxing ...

As the ski season approaches the question arises again of whether it is better to save money and avoid the crowds or avoid the cold by taking a holiday later in the season. The Christmas and New Year period is always going to be busy, although it is still possible to find good deals. However, at that time the snow may not be at its best.
Generally the best bargains can be found in January and this is also the time when snow conditions should be good. It is also when temperatures dip to their lowest so warm clothes are essential.
European ...

Italy possesses a rich culture. Art, music, food and architecture - the country features near the top spot worldwide for nearly all of these. It’s a pleasant coincidence, then, that these are high up in the list of things most wanted on a good holiday. However, Italy’s embarrassment of riches can also be its Achilles heel. Even scratching the surface of all that Italy has to offer would take more than a month, a luxury most of us cannot afford. So in a country so full of great places to visit, where do you start?...
